About
The Society was founded in memory of Late Shri Ram Shankar Singh, hailing from village Dhanhara, District Aurangabad, Bihar. Shri Ram Shankar Singh envisioned the establishment of a Comprehensive Cancer Hospital named SAVERA. The foundation stone of Savera Cancer and Multispeciality Hospital was laid in his esteemed presence on 21.01.2016 by the then Governor of Bihar, Hon’ble Shri Ramnath Kovind.
Primarily known for his business and construction endeavors, Shri Ram Shankar Singh was deeply moved by the plight of cancer patients, inspiring his son Dr. Vijay Pratap Singh to realize his aspirations. Despite his untimely departure, SAVERA perseveres against all odds. Currently, his wife Mrs. Asha Devi leads the Society as President, supported by other key members.

Our Mission
Our mission is to improve the lives of individuals affected by cancer through comprehensive support, education, advocacy, and research. This entails providing emotional and practical assistance to patients and their families, promoting cancer prevention and early detection through educational initiatives, advocating for policies that enhance cancer care and access to treatment, and funding research to advance understanding and treatment of cancer.
The overarching goal is to reduce the burden of cancer, enhance quality of life for survivors, and strive towards a future where cancer is preventable, treatable, and ultimately cured.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create a world where cancer is eradicated through prevention, early detection, effective treatment, and compassionate care for all individuals affected by the disease. It envisions a society where every person has access to quality cancer education, support services, and equitable healthcare, regardless of their background or circumstances.
The society aims to foster a community where the stigma associated with cancer is eliminated, and where research and innovation continually advance the understanding and treatment of cancer, leading to improved outcomes and ultimately a cure. Through collaboration with healthcare providers, researchers, policymakers, and the community at large, we strives to empower individuals, reduce cancer incidence and mortality rates, and enhance the overall well-being of those impacted by cancer.
